Eating Characteristics: The dense moist bright orange flesh is often described as sweet, nutty, and smooth, but one quality we really appreciate is the tiny seed cavity, which leaves a solid volume of flesh for easy slicing.

Curing: For best storage life, allow squash to cure for 2 weeks in a warm and dry location like a sunny window sill. One seed supplier suggests butternut flavour will continue to develop for up to 2 months into storage, so don't rush this one.
Storage Life: 4 to 6 months in cool dry conditions, 10-15ºC at 50-70% humidity.
